Sharon Henryson, 3rd grade Teacher
I took a teaching position here at Faith Christian Academy in 1987 so that my daughter, Elizabeth, would get a Christian education. She attended Faith Christian Academy from Kindergarten until she graduated in the 8th grade.
We discovered she had some learning difficulties that would not have been addressed in public school because they were not significant enough. At Faith Christian Academy she got the help she needed to become a disciplined, diligent and responsible student. These skills and habits brought her success in high school and later in college.
I am delighted to be at a school where every child gets the attention they need to reach their potential; academically, spiritually, musically and athletically.

"In our search for a private Christian school for our fifth grade daughter, I looked at seven schools within the DuPage/Kane county area. Most were discounted quickly because they did not have the academic program we were looking for. When there were three schools left on our list, we began to examine other criteria besides academics, such as Christian leadership of the school, discipline of the children, and the morals that were being taught, and, more importantly, if these morals were being acted out by the adults within the school. We also watched and listened to the children themselves as they interacted with each other and with the adults around them.
We found that at Faith Christian, adults did not only talk the talk, but walked the walk and helped our daughter do the same. This is a priceless gift! Faith Christian Academy provides a wonderful academic program, but more importantly, provides spiritual lessons that will follow any child throughout their life, helping to keep them on the path God has laid out for them."
Sallie Thomas, 4th grade Teacher
"I am a teacher at Faith Christian Academy and have been blessed to have two of my children attend and graduate from FCA. They were challenged and stretched by the academic curriculum enabling them to enter their high school years well prepared to meet the challenges set before them there. The sports and music programs that they participated in at Faith were extremely encouraging. They helped to give them the abilities and confidence to continue to pursue these activities in high school. The spiritual training they received through the daily Bible classes and the daily interaction with godly teachers has helped to mold and shape them into the young adults they have become.
My daughter will soon graduate from college with a degree in Bible, emphasizing in Youth Ministry. She has a passion for working with young people, especially middle school students. She knows how crucial those young years are in a student's life.

My son is attending a state university. He has to draw daily on the strength he has found in God. The instruction he received at Faith has helped to build that strength. He is involved in a Christian camp in the area and is part of a campus ministry at school.
As a teacher here I have had the opportunity to watch many students mature in their faith and be prepared scholastically to enter high school. It is truly a privilege to partner with the parents to bring our children up to follow the path God has set before them."
A Christian School Through My Eyes
By Keely McCormick
Have you ever wondered what its like to go to a Christian school? At Faith Christian Academy there are loving teachers, high academics, Bible lessons, and a personal environment making us feel like we are all one big family.
I am a 6th grader at Faith Christian Academy. My favorite thing about Faith Christian Academy is the love I feel from the teachers. They always want me to succeed. I had a hard time adjusting to 6th grade the first month of school. My teacher encouraged me every day by giving me a hug. I felt extremely loved and before I knew it I came to school with no problems.
At my school we have very high academic standards. I feel incredibly challenged. Our grading scale is also very high. The tough academics are shown on the standardized tests that we take. Many of my classmates and I rank among the top students in the United States. We also have a wonderful sports program including girls volleyball, cheerleading, girls and boys basketball and track. The coaches always say, "We are playing for an audience of one; God." This is a Bible verse that I've heard from many of my teachers at school. I can do all things through Christ, because he gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
The Bible is tied in with everything at my school. All of our books quote verses that match the current topic we are studying. Each morning we have Bible class. The first Wednesday of each month we have Chapel where we sing and praise the Lord.
At Faith Christian Academy we are all one family. If someone is upset everyone gives them a hug and builds them up. We care about each other and pray for each other. We call this the Faith Family.
I love my school so much. I can't explain how much I love it. I feel like it's more than a school, it's a family. We are all brothers and sisters in Christ. If you are looking for a new school, you might want to give Faith Christian Academy a call.
