Timber-lee Christian Center

Every year Faith Christian Academy's 5th - 8th grade classes visit the Timber-lee Christian Center for several days where each student has an opportunity to "encounter Christ through a dynamic camp experience."  Timber-lee Christian Center has operated a year-round Christian camp, conference and retreat center under the auspices of the Forest Lakes and Great Lakes Districts of the Evangelical Free Church of America. Located near the southern part of Wisconsin's Kettle Moraine State Forest, Timber-lee is 45 minutes southwest of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and 2 hours northwest of Chicago, Illinois. The site encompasses over 600 acres of beautifully wooded, rolling scenic land.

While at Timber-lee, the students participate in a variety of activities including Environmental Outdoor Education where they will explore all phases of wildlife and science. Students are also challenged at the Science Education Center through hands-on and/or adult-led activities presented with the marvels of God's creation and designed to increase their knowledge and understanding of science, the environment, and their relationship with them.

Students also find time to relax and have fun with one another in a variety of exciting indoor and outdoor activities.

During the 8th grade school year at Faith Christian Academy the students do an in-depth study of the Constitution of the United States in preparation for taking their Constitution test.  After all of the study and preparation, the class participates in a five day class trip to Washington D.C.  During this trip they visit many historic places, explore the wonders of the history of our country, and participate in the "Laying of the Wreath" ceremony.  This trip is truly a memorable experience for students, teachers, and accompanying parents.
